Up Through Mar 23 - Silos | Spaces, Places, The Silos on Sawyer, 1502 Sawyer St., Houston, 77007. The Silos hosts multiple exhibitions highlighting artist tenants and local, regional, and national organizations/institutions. I'm honored to have two pieces in the Glade Arts Foundation’s Joseph Staley curated Spaces, Places.

Up Through March 23 - Color:Story 2019 | Literary:Visual::Words:Art, Gallery 200, The Silos on Sawyer. My collaborative exhibition - with fellow Silos artist Leslie Gaworecki and 17 local Houston-area writers - started with a dynamic Art Opening/Reading/Poetry Slam where authors read/performed their work next to the piece that it inspired - You can still read their words on the wall & see the pieces! - up through March 23.

March 9th - Studio 231 Open for March Second Saturday, Noon to 5PM.

April 27th - Studio 231 open for the Spring Biannual, Saturday April 27th, 5PM to 9PM.

May 11th - Studio 231 Open for May Second Saturday, Noon to 5PM.

June 8th - Studio 231 Open for June Second Saturday, Noon to 5PM.

Studio 231 will be closed for Second Saturdays in July and August.

I most admire, as James Turrell once said, ‘art that has some ambition to it.’ Each piece that made the final cut has stayed with me because it is elegant, exudes the intelligence of its maker and maybe unsettles me a bit - it’s good when art makes us not just think, but think twice.
— Molly Glentzer, who juried my work into the recent Visual Arts Alliance exhibition at BLUEorange Contemporary
